Archer sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.

This describes exactly what the application stores in your browser today. It is written to be accurate about how Archer actually works, but it is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have counsel review it before Archer is offered to customers outside your own company.

What is stored

  • Session cookies — set by Supabase authentication to keep you signed in. httpOnly, Secure, SameSite. Strictly necessary; without them you cannot use the application.
  • Theme preference — a single value in local storage recording whether you chose light or dark. Set only when you press the toggle. Until then Archer follows your device.
  • Nothing else. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no third-party pixels, no session recording.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Archer only sets cookies required to keep you signed in, plus one local preference you set deliberately by pressing a button. A banner asking permission for that would be theatre.

Clearing them

Clearing site data for this domain signs you out and forgets your theme choice, after which Archer follows your device again. Nothing else is affected — your bids live on the server, not in the browser.
